Question

Copy an app?

Feb 12, 2020 6:49PM PST

Is there any way to copy an app from an older iPod to my iPhone 7? I accidentally deleted it and didn't notice until several backups/syncs were done. It's a book reader, Stanza, that's not offered any more.

Thanks large for any help.

at the App Store.
Click on the Purchased tab, sign in and there you should see all the apps that you have downloaded.

but no joy. As I said it's pretty old. Lots of old apps listed but it's not there.

In that case.....

the developer would be your next, best source of information. I have never heard of a method to "copy" one application from one device to the other if it is not showing in the App store.

Interesting story to that app and company.

Around 2010 Amazon bought them and the author and owners fell silent. Time to hunt for a replacement.

Adobe Digital Editions. It just doesn't render some .epub books as well as Stanza did.

Seems to be the run of the mill. Boring, usually works but as I don't have a lot of epub files I don't have the issues some have.

Back to the hunt.
