My Computer
C:
Windows
Show Files
Cookies

To delete all cookies from one cookie to end of collection: Press Shift Key and point at first cookie and then at last cookie, and all cookies in between will highlight. Click Delete.

To delete one specific cookie not grouped together. Press Ctrl and point at specific cookie, and then repeat process untill all cookies to be deleted are highlighted. Click Delete.

98SE. I use the method pfeffer3 mentioned above. I keep a shortcut to my "cookie" file on my quick launch area. Before shutting down for the day (Yup, I shut down for the night) I go to the cookies file and delete those I do not want. It may sound time consuming but it isn't. Only a minute or two daily.

1. Download the "12-Wash" utility from Tucows -- I guess that means five (5) as there are five pictures of a cow, that is listed in the "Index" near the bottom of the page -- a free!1.5MB file.

2. When run, you'll see the tab IE, IE, AOL (click to see a screen shot) which when clicked give you the option to delete "cookies" among other things along with an "Except" button that allows you to select those to keep and for which they are subsequently written to the system registry and not changed unless you do so.

3. Either create a batch file to start on boot with the two lines below and placed in the Startup folder or place the first line only in the Autoexec.bat file to purge cookies:

@<drive> \ <path> \12wash.exe /silent /washall
@exit
