In most countries, including here in the United States, it is illegal to strip the DRM from a file or convert it to an unprotected format. (See the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.) Thus, I must lock this thread. I will offer one word of advice, though...the program TuneBite (shareware) provides a legal alternative by recording the sound as it passes your sound card.
I have a new CD that uses that new terrible DRM protected content which does not let iTunes or any other device application recognize the songs to be able to be put on my iPod.
Does anyone know of a good FREE program that will convert these DRM files to unprotected formats? Thanks.
