converting read only files on a CD for editing

How do I convert read only files on a CD so that I can edit them.

You will have to put them on your hard drive, floppy or USB drive. They cannot be edited or change while on the CD.

you have to first copy the file to your harddrive, right click and choose Properties, and take out the 'read only' attribute. Once edited, you can then burn this file to a new cd along with copying the original cd contents. You don't say if this file is already on one that you had burned, and if it is, copy the entire contents of the cd to a separate folder on your harddrive, edit the file as I noted, erase the original cd if it's a CDRW, and then reburn the cd with the edited file.
