That's a common format for karaoke files. But since 'unzipping' can only be done with 'zip'-files, that part of your story is somewhat unclear.

What are the exact file extensions (like .mp3 or .dat) of the files that resulted from your unzipping whatever you downloaded? A description like "quick time movies format" is generated by your PC (if you have Quick Time installed), just like a ".pdf" file extension is translated to "Adobe Acrobat Document" if you have Adobe Acrobat installed and to something else if you installed Adobe Reader or Nitro Reader.
So that description is meaningless.

I assume you know how to tell your version of Windows to show the file extension in Windows Explorer.
