converting dvd to tablet

i need to know how to convert my music dvd`s to my 10.1" android tablet

Given that a DVD can hold up to 4.7 GB...

...and the fact that storage on most tablets is limited (you didn't say how much you have), are you sure this is a good idea? You could get a number of songs or books on a tablet, but when you start talking 4.7 GB at a crack, you'll very quickly run out of space.

That's a 2 step process, at most.
1. Convert the stuff you want to a format that can be played by one of the players on your tablet.
2. Copy the converted movie (or whatever) to the tablet so the player finds it.

What of the 2 steps do you need help with? And what Android player(s) are the ones you prefer to use?
