Question

converting DVD-r to a computer file

Sep 18, 2017 2:12PM PDT

I have Roxio nxt3. Not the usual question here. I'm trying to to place my DVD-r video into a file in my computer. Sounds simple. I can find no advice anywhere (tutorials) Everything is about burning. Roxio chat gave me a ticket number, sent me an email and I haven't heard back. I'm desperate. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Open your file manager

The file is already a file on the DVD-R. Just copy it off the DVD onto your HDD.

Thanks for the answer. But sorry, I'm a dummy. Where is the file manager? And when I find it, how do I copy it to my HDD? And what is my HDD?

is the file manager if using windows. Open it and see the Hard drive, see the CD/CVD drive. On the DVD drive you can see the files. Copy them over to Documents or some other folder on the hard drive.
