converting and dvd help

i have to make a dvd for a place im at and im having trouble with a few things

first they have a flash intro they would like at the start of their dvd, i dont know how to convert this to a format which can be used. I've tried a lot of different converters but havent been succesful so far

next i need to add subtitles to 9 videos but im a bit confused with how it works. i tried Subtitle Workshop and it seemed easy enough but when it came to saving im stumped, could does anyone know any good program to add the subtitles then turn it into a file like an avi or something with the subs on it?

and if anybody has any ideas for a program to use after i've got everything ready to put it together in it would be a great help

For flash I just googled it.

I think I tried flash2avi and it converted with some demo and I was done. Sound I think was a problem so I used AUDACITY to capture that then later I put that in another track proper.

I won't be sharing any specifics but will share how I found software.

About subtitles. That's in your DVD creation software and not subtitle workshop.
