Converting Access report with charts to PDF in color

by tgirl / June 16, 2008 4:25 AM PDT

I have several Access reports that I need to convert to PDFs. The problem is that the reports contain pie charts that were developed from the reports. When I convert them to PDFs, the pie charts show up in Black and White??? Also, any other color text shows up as black text. Is there a setting I can use that will keep everything in color upon conversion? I've tried several options under "Change Converstion Settings," but none seems to work Thanks!

Used PDF995 or other such Print to PDF solutions. The result is color PDFs. You didn't tell what product or method you were using.

I am using Access 2003 and Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional. In Access I'm using the "Convert to Adobe PDF" icon. Does that help?

I just realized that I can "print to Adobe PDF," but I have about 25 individual reports that I need to have in one PDF. Just thought that there's got to be a better way.

Obviously, this isn't a setting in MS Access. So it must be a setting in Acrobat.
Maybe http://www.pdf2007.com/ is of some help. It seems an rather instructive tutorial.

There are PDF JOINER programs if you can't print it at one go.
