Convert to PDF to upload to iPod Touch

Apr 14, 2010 3:15AM PDT

I want to put files (text and image)on my iPod Touch that I can view OFF-LINE. I think this entails three steps: 1) converting files on my pc to PDF format, 2)importing them into iTunes, and 3) uploading them to the iTouch. What programs and/or applications do I need?

My pc operates Windows XP. The iTouch is 32 GB, second generation, with the iPhone interface.
