Convert ISO file to AVI file

I'm looking for a software application that I can use to convert and ISO file to an AVI file so I can edit it???

There is no such thing.

An .ISO is a container of files. There is no way to convert such to an .AVI

However if there is a video file in that .ISO you should copy that out first and then we can look to conversion to .AVI
