CONVERT CD ROM DISC TO VCD

Am using WinXP Pro SPP1 with 5112 mb ram.

I have a multimedia CD ROM disc. It works perfectly on the PC. But on stand alone DVD/VCD player it shows invalid media.
Is it possible to convert the multimedia information on the disc to vcd ?
Suggestions and help needed badly.

Personally I doubt it

Although it is possible to convert movies into DVD format, I doubt if multimedia content can be converted.

It all depends on the contents of the disk I suppose. EG, if the disk has a .pps file, (PowerPoint presentation file), then it will not play on a stand alone DVD player. Neither will mp3's.

But perhaps others here will have better ideas.
