Controller card/drive recommendations for an AGP machine?

Mar 4, 2008 11:28PM PST

Hi, I'm still keeping my sawtooth machine alive after 8 years. Aside from some issues with the power supply, it's been pretty trustworthy. I am having a recurring problem with audio clicks and pops when running Digital Performer.

I'm thinking perhaps installing a new ATA controller card with a dedicated drive for audio might be in order. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

My specs:
G4 AGP Graphics chassis
OWC 1.4GHz processor upgrade
1 GB RAM
OS X Tiger (10.4.11)
