Question

Continuous beeping

Aug 10, 2019 3:27AM PDT

Hi there,

My computer is beeping and I can't seem to find the answer online.

It happens whenever I open an application (such as a game, or design software, even just file explorer) but not on bootup. There is no specific number of beeps, just repeating until the application has opened. It does seem that the bigger the program, the more beeps as it takes longer to load.

I have a Dell XPS 8930.

It's happened way too many times that the owner brings it in and the beeping was not a speaker but the HDD complaining.
