Context menu help

May 22, 2005 6:40AM PDT

Got a question about context menu (right click menu) and how to add stuff to the menu.

Im trying to make a "download" feature in the context menu where when I click it, it will open my download folder in a new window, however I do not know the command for that in the registry, to open a new folder in a new window.

Secondly i only know how to implent the feature only in my computer when clicking a file or a icon. I wish for my menu 'download' to be featured universally, so it can show when i right click on desktop, internet explorer, or anywhere else. Any ideas?

First off, yes that does help only when you right click a file/folder or icon. Its not universal...

Second it does not give detail whats the registry command to go to specific folder and to open in new window.
