I am running WinXP home edition build 2600 and have a cable connection which is fine. I tried switching off the firewall, no differance so switched it back on again. So now I'm stuck. Please help. Thanks,Rockstar 100

Some questions.

Are you signed in as the administrator?

Why would you want a Download accelerator when you are using a cable connection?

If you are looking for a FREE Download Manager, you can download one here

It can be helpful if you are downloading a larger file but... since you are using cable, it should be fast to begin with.

Also the download for download accelerator worked for me. What browser are you using?

Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
