Question

Constantly monitor heart rate - advise needed

My dad had a heart attack on Saturday and on Tuesday at the hospital it was alerted as it went up to 165, they have got it under control now and it has been discharged.

I have been looking around the internet and there are sooo many on the market I need to ask some experts.

I need the watch to:-

1 - Monitor the heart rate at all times (NO CHEST STRAP) (WRIST ONLY) - not just intermittent when exercising,
2 - Tell the time
3 - Small size the better

Not too bothered about any other features other than the above.

Thanks in advance

it would be best to ask his doctor. Most watches and other fitness wrist bands are very inaccurate.

Sounds like a doctor is needed.

Wrist monitoring so far isn't good enough for medical monitoring. The last time I discussed this with doctors they still use a wired system. The good news is the recorder is about the size of a small phone now.
