constant buzzing/humming in headset microphone?!

I'm currently using the corsair raptor hs40 headset and using them to game with.
when in TeamSpeak I have no buzzing or humming noise but as soon as I turn on a game capture software there's a constant humming noise coming through the microphone..

I've tried plugging into different USB slots and disabling all other audio devices not in use but that makes no difference.

It's starting to get frustrating as I'm sure its something simple and hopefully someone knows the answer!

Any help is massively appreciated.

If you feel that way, help the members out with your findings. It's pretty easy to post that replies are not helpful (which is not helpful either.)
