Considering changing to PPC

Mar 1, 2005 12:49AM PST

I have a Sony Clie TH55 but am considering a change to PPC, especially with Sony's exit from the PDA market.

Also, there is a particular free software package (e-Sword for PPC) that I would like to use and it is available only for PPCs.

However, I know that I have a really good PDA in the TH55. What would be the tradeoff were I to sell it and buy, say, a comparably-priced HP or Dell (besides probably the little-used camera)?

Size?
Display?
Speed?
Battery life?
Accessories?

One thing that definitely matters is that the PDA be thin enough to be in a case (preferably cradle-ready) and carried in my front pants pocket (dress slacks and khakis).

Thanks for your help.
