Stereo or PCM and try that next.
http://reviews.cnet.com/separate-speakers/bose-solo-tv-sound/4505-7869_7-35438075.html gives me a clue it may not support 5.1 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5.1_surround_sound ).
I tried to connect my Bose Solo TV Surround to my LG 47LV4400 UA tv using both the coaxial output jack on the TV and the Optic connection and neither produces sound. My Previous connection between the TV and a Sony Surround system works fine and connecting the Bose to another flat screen in the house (Sony) also works so neither component is not working it is just the two together that produces no results, Help!
