Question

Connection times out, ping spikes then goes back to normal.

Oct 10, 2018 10:56AM PDT

I have tried running "ping -t google.com" in CMD and the results are basicaly:

Ping:8ms
Ping:7ms
*Timed out*
Ping:388ms
Ping:105ms
Ping:7

And it just goes like this all day.
I tried unplugging every device, but this PC (every device has this problem, the problem is not my PC) and made sure there are no background processes downloading and this just keeps happening and my ISP said that everything was alright on their part, so I dont really know what to do next...

I tried 3 different routers, different cables and stuff like that, but that does not seem to do it.

So WiFi is not the issue.

The last test is to go without the router and connect directly to your ISP's gear.

The news is grim. If you can't get a solid connection with just the ISP gear, it's not your PC and you are royally stuck.

-> Be aware I only have what you reveal. There are no hints about the ISP, ISP modem model, etc.
