What mfg router? Assuming you have reset router checked IP settings, etc. It is possible splitter is bad but also look at router.
So here's a problem I can't crack and can no longer stand to wade through the awful Comcast tech support.
The internet was working perfectly for awhile, but recently it's been randomly cutting off. The "SEND" light on the modem starts blinking and I have to reset it. Works fine otherwise. Nothing particular seems to set it off; just poof.
The system setup is as follows:
Wall outlet -> coax cable to splitter -> Split-A goes to cable box which goes to television -> Split-B goes to modem which goes to my router.
I thought maybe loose or bad wires, but I replaced those. Could it be the splitter? It was working just fine just a day or so ago. Thanks.
