Connection of Samsung 3600 to 2 wire modem

by BOATMAN8827 / February 27, 2010 12:35 PM PST

I have the following settings on my computer:
ip address 192.168.1.72
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.1.254
dhcp server 192.168.1.254
dns server 192.168.1.254

The 3600 does not recognize this settings.

I also have a D-ling wireless card installed with:
ip address 192.168.1.64
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.1.254
dhcp server 192.168.1.254
dns server 192.168.1.254

I had a Netgear router attached to the 2 wire and the blu ray screen stills displays this name (even though I have disconnected it per The Geek Squad)

I had this connected before I tried to set up shared folders on my computer.

The last setting I had that worked through the Gateway ping but did not connect to the Internet was:

ip address 192.168.0.2
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.0.2
dns server 192.168.1.254

Ask me about taxes and I can give you an answer but this is just confusing. Any help is very much appreciated.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
