Connecting via Citrix or RDP and home printers

Running Windows XP w/latest updates and service packs.

Citrix or RDP will "usually" not see a home multi-function USB printer when connecting from home. Is there a fix for this? I've seen it happen with RDP and Citrix and was not sure if anyone else has seen this? If so, were you able to come up w/a fix?
