Connecting USB devices to TOSHIBA LED TV 46PB20E

by christy / December 18, 2011 10:28 AM PST

The 46PB20E can access and playvideo/image files stored on a USB thumb drive [mpeg, avi etc. formats]. There is a USB input port. Is it possible to connect an external USB DVD drive to play DVD movies ? The 46PB20E can reconize video files in the vob format.

You can try it, but because DVD can be copy protected this layer of code is usually absent.

Why? Because a license fee would have to be paid to No TV maker will add this feature.

Good point. Many DVDs are in ISO9660 format.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
