Question

Connecting two routers over the internet

Jun 19, 2019 8:51PM PDT

I work from home and normally when I travel I have to stop working since I cannot use a VPN nor I can access anything from outside the country, I would like to know if there's a way to connect to my router home from another router outside of the country or state(Since certain states cannot access certain company's resources) and access websites as if I was home

Since you claim you can't use a VPN then I can't write anything about how to VPN to your home PC.

As to the company resources, I find that when I work for a company, they set this up for us.

As long as the VPN can't be detected by them it would work. How could I VPN home

No better way to learn more about VPN, networking than to create your own solution. I learned a lot when in the early 90's I created a router using the smallest PC I could find at the time. This was when routers were just coming onto the market.
