Connecting TV to Receiver

Feb 25, 2006 11:49AM PST

I have a Samsung 27' Flat Screen TV. It is model TX-R2728. I just bought a Sony Home Theatre System (Model HT-DDW670). I can't figure out how to get regular TV programs to play through my Sony speakers. I read that you need to turn off the sound on your TV's internal speakers, but my TV does not have that option. My TV has one A/V Output. Is there someway I can still get this to work, or am I screwed? Thanks.

I do have audio output on my TV. However, I can't turn off the internal speakers? If I connect a audio (RCA) cable from my audio out on my TV to the receiver, will that work?
