http://www.wharfedale.co.uk/product.php?pid=72 is the sound bar so I'd try an optical link next.
I have an LG 32LK450U TV & have just bought a Wharfedale vista 100 soundbar & am baffled as to how to connect the two. I have connected the red & white connector cables but no sound.
Can someone pls advise me , thanks
Hi Bob, thanks for the reply. Not exactly sure what you mean , the LG link takes me to their page with the TV but doesn't show the inputs . There are 2 sets of red & white inputs on the TV , one labeled Audio & the other Mono (on a white background) - Audio . I've tried both with no luck. When you say an optical link , which input would that go to? Sorry I'm pretty clueless around TVs
I looked at both TV and soundbar and given only one optical on TV and one optical on the soundbar, I'm unsure how there could be any wrong way to get it connected.
I think some basic questions back at the place you bought all this could clear this up if you don't know that inputs can't output.
If a shop confuses you rather than helps you sort it out, they won't be there for long. Let's cheat.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wharfedale-Soundbar-100-Vista-SoundBar/dp/B00IJZCCFY shows a TosLink cable (under 5) and http://www.lg.com/uk/support-product/lg-32LK450U# has the product manual.
The TV looks to use the standard cable I see in the TV manual.
