Connecting several components

Apr 5, 2006 7:13AM PDT

I just bought a Sony DVD Home Theatre System (HT-6900DP) a Toshiba DVD/VCR combo (SD V593SU) and I have a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4200 Cablevision Cable box and a older Zenith TV A25B33W. I need to connect them all together and don't know the first thing about it. In a month or 2 I hope to get a new LCD TV but for now this is what I need to connect. Anyone know the step by step way to connect?

I went to the link (Samsung) and selected TV + DVD Combo Digital Cable Receiver (mine is not digital) + AV Receiver. It shows me the AV Receiver and the digital Cable Receiver but no connections. I'm lost. Any help is appreciated.

On the Samsung site I printed the connections for TV + DVD Combo Digital Cable Receiver (mine is not digital) + AV Receiver. I follow the directions but I'm guessing since my TV is not LCD or Plasma and my cable box is not digital it has connections that I don't have ports for. HELP!!

Go to this site and download the manual for the receiver that comes with the system you purchased. Also, I wouls suggest hooking everything to the receiver as opposed ot hooking it up to the tv. Also, go to the Zenih website and download the manual for your tv.
