Not a techie, I have Comcast hi speed internet with wifi installed and several devices operating on it now. Purchased a Samsung TV with smart hub and need help connecting it to the wifi system. How do I configure set up and what do I need to connect TV to wifi?

Answer
Let's say you have a Samsung 6050 model.

It does not come with WiFi so while you could buy a dongle the price tends to be such that you can get a far better experience with a Roku. This model looks to be about 3 years old and the Samsung "Smart TV" is dated. I would not do this except by adding a Roku or such.

Somewhere in the menu on the TV

should be a area called Network or something similar. Once you get there if you router has security you will have to add the wireless network SSID which is the name and the password. If your router is built into your cable model you have to use the same SSID and pw used on your PC's.
