HDMI can demand HDCP and not all cards have that. I also need to check that DVI port.
I recently bought a Samsung S24B300HL monitor with HDMI and VGA after being assured it would be compatible with my computer, which has both a DVI-D and a DVI-I exit (the graphics card is an Ati Radeon 3650).
I bought a HDMI-to-DVI/D adapter cable, and it doesn't work. Computer and monitor both work, but the monitor keeps asking for the cable connection even if the cable is plugged in.
Any advice on what might be the problem (not a cable malfunction I think, since I tried two), and how to connect those two? I'm going a bit crazy here...
