Connecting Samsung LCD-LED to Bose Sounddock II?

I am hoping to buy a 32-inch Samsung LCD-LED and am hoping to improve on the sound by connecting to my Bose Sounddock II. The Sounddock has a minijack input. I'm trying to figure out:
1. Which Samsung models in my size range might be compatible?
2. If it would actually be an improvement...has anyone tried this?
