connecting my samsung lcd to freeview

is there another way to connect my samsung 40" lcd tv to receive freeview as it does not nave a built in tuner i have a freeview box but wondered if i could use one of the card slots in the side of the tv. thanks

What's the model number? Any recent TV should have a digital tuner for Freeview, plus a card slot for pay services.
