connecting my dell laptop via hdmi to my samsung plazma

by germaine93 / September 13, 2013 11:44 PM PDT

It connects just fine. However the screen is chopped off at the edges like an inch or two making it hard to see the start up button and other things. When I plugged it into my other tv, it worked fine. Any ideas on how to adjust the screen settings? I tried on the laptop but it doesnt do anything. Thanks in advance

Hold down the CTRL key and press the + key. That should shrink the display.

Hi germaine93,

I'm very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Have you tried changing the input name on your TV to PC? By default, your TV inputs are set to scale for standard HDMI input. By changing the name to PC, your TV will adjust the scaling of the input.
