What audio out?

Just last week my brother who makes such house calls found the owner had connected via RCA jacks on the HDTV. It's a common setup error. Let's read what this audio out is.

on the TV remote. But to get sound from a TV to Receiver you need to set the receiver to the correct setting plus have the TV sound out to the receiver in. I have an old receiver and i use the Red, White and Yellow cable on TV that goes out to receiver Video/input. I have to set the receiver to video to get sound.

So basically you need to connect to out connection of TV to some kind of in on the receiver then on you remote you need to select the correct IN plug on the remote. Example: (auxilary or video/audio).

So try connecting to the audio plugs under Video 1 the on the remote set Video 1. You could do the same for Video just match it up on the remote match where ever you plugged the cables Video 1 or Video2.
