In short, at the office we use http://www.netswitcher.com to help switch a machine to the proper setup for each network situation. It's cheap and reliable.
I use my company provided Compaq Laptop with Windows 2000 installed and a built in network card. I do appar to have a slot for an additional card. Normally my computer is in either a stand alone or connected to my companies server. However my partner has a network for her office at home and I would like to be able to connect to that for High Speed Internet Access and printer utilisation.
Any ideas on how I can do this without having to reconfigure my computer each time and upsetting my company!! We don't have an IT department only an external consultant who is "not helpful"!
Thanks in advance for any help given.
