Connecting JVC A/V RX-6020 to new JVC HDTV AV-30W585

by drforbes50 / January 24, 2006 9:21 PM PST

I purchased a new JVC HDTV with HDMI for Christmas and had a HD Satelite Receiver with DVI-D installed. The technician connected the satelite DVI to the HDMI video/sound on the back of my TV. Just above the HDMI, there are 2 analog Left and Right Audio RCA jacks which he connected to the Left and Right RCA outputs on the back of the satelite receiver. The sound is now terrible and I can't find anyone to help me out. I have all JVC componets: TV, DVD/VCR and A/V receiver. My 5.1 is from Bose and is connected to my JVC A/V receiver which was excellent. What is going on?

Sound from the Satelite Receiver
by drforbes50 / January 25, 2006 9:15 AM PST

The audio comes from the satelite receiver-optical and coaxial PCM Stream. Both are connected to the receiver but no output to HDTV. Does this help?

Can't anyone assist me with connecting my new HDTV to my A/V receiver? I've had 2 technicians look at it and I was worse off after they left!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
