Connecting iPod to a Boze car system

Sep 21, 2005 8:05AM PDT

I'm going to purchase an 06 Nissan Murano. It has a factory Boze head unit. I've tried the cassette adapters, and the sound is sub standard.

My local car stereo shop says they can attach an fm modulator to the system. It's hard-wired and will link to an fm button (such as FM 1).

Has anyone had any experience with this set-up? If so, how good is the sound?

Hi,

I agree - if you are referring to the cassette insert device or the wireless modulator - they are substandard. Is one of these approaches why you are not keen on the modulator?
