Question

Connecting Dual Monitors problems

Feb 28, 2016 4:11PM PST

Going to try to make this a clear as possible and any help would be amazing since I am not computer savvy at all:

My computer has a EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB SuperSC ACX 2.0+ Video Card.

I had my computer built for me after I purchased all my parts the guy who built it told me to use this adapter that came in the box to connect my monitor.

Screenshots of the adapter:

The adapter that goes into the port and goes to a VGA: https://gyazo.com/b504df1d2a95c608d4aa751450c5864f

I have to have this adapter to have my one display working. I have tried plugging a HDMI, VGA, ETC from my monitor straight into the corresponding ports on my computer but it just shows "no vga connection" and shuts off.

This was not a problem for a while until I got another monitor but am not able to hook it up because of this adapter problem.

My Two Monitors

New one: Acer G226HQL 21.5-Inch Screen LED Monitor

Old one that I still use: Asus VS228H-P/VS228 21.5-Inches Led Backlight Widescreen Computer Monitor

Any help would be great Happy
