Connecting analogue camcorder to pc without capture card

I have an old Panasonic NV-RX11B camcorder. I am looking to connect it to my PC but it only has an AV Out port. Is there a way to connect it to my computer without the need of a video capture card?

Something has to convert analog data to digital before the

computer can use it. There are external devices such as the Dazzle units that can perform this function. I don't know how well they work.

1. Use a newer camcorder to have it digitize to firewire and capture via firewire.

2. Try any of the USB or firewire capture devices.
