Hello,
i solved this problem today. It was a problem on my part.
i had to adjust the solution to 1080i, it seems that the samsung HTS cant cope with 1080p. i dont have a blue ray here but will see tomorrow how it looks.

Hi there,
recently i bought a ?Western Digital TV Live HD Media Player? and a projector from ?Mitsubishi HC 3800?. I connected these via HDMi and everything worked just fine. Then I got the HTS from Samsung (HT-C5500).
I disconnected the WD media player and connected the HT-C5500 via the same HDMI cable. But now I don?t get a picture to set up the HTS. I can only see black and white pixels and sometimes for just a bit of a second the menu and then only some colours and pixels again.
I swapped the HDMI cable to a video cable (yellow connector if that helps) and got the menu screen but only in an okish quality.
I cant get the HTS and the projector to work via HDMI. Firmware on the HTS seems to be up to date with the 1010.2 Version.
Do I need some special settings to get a picture? Any help is appreciated.
