Connecting 850 TV to Internet

by SPANINC / January 21, 2010 10:12 AM PST

Hi, I am connecting my HDTV 850 to the internet via cable and router.
Once connection is completed what can I do with the TV?
Can I connect directly to Netflix or DirectPCTV? How can I surf the net...
Thanks Riqe

SPANINC,

There are programs - widgets - that you can use, although Netflix is not part of the widget lineup. What model of television do you have? The full model number would help me let you know which features are available.

"Surfing the net" - at least in the traditional sense of using a browser - is not possible with the television's wireless features. However, you can hook up a PC to the computer to watch content that way if you'd like to.

Hi, thanks for quick reply. My TV's exact model LN52A850. Please give me more details of what I can do with the TV connected to the web and how. Not much in the manual.

Thanks.
