Connected With Limited Access

by weemanpaul1 / February 9, 2009 12:30 AM PST

Hi, my year old Acer Aspire 5315's wireless network connection to my Netgear router located downstairs which has a computer connected directly to it which works fine and so does the other wireless laptop also upstairs. The connection on my laptop did work but then one day I turned my laptop on to do my usual, just browse the internet and use MSN. The pages wouldn't load and then I noticed it sayed I wasn't connected to the internet but when I looked in Network and Sharing Center it sayed connected with limited access. I have tried things like route delete 0.0.0.0 and system restore but still get the same message. I use Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic. Both other computers on my network can connect. Can anyone help?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
