Usually, the ethernet connection will automatically take over and there should be no issues, but occasionally, that doesn't happen. Therefore, you disable the wireless adapter in Device Manager and continue using the ethernet adapter.
Yes, it happens.
Hope this helps.

Lately I was having problems with my router and it turned out I needed a new router because I was not getting the internet speed that I paid for. I was told it is best to use an Ethernet connection for a faster speed. The only thing is when I open a browser, I get a message that reads; the internet connection has been interrupted. It turns out after doing some research on the matter, if using the Ethernet connection, turn the WiFi off. It seems when connected to the internet by Ethernet and WiFi simultaneously, it confuses the Windows OS. Has anyone had the same experience?
