Question

Connected to internet but wifi icon says "not connected"

Feb 24, 2016 3:32PM PST

I use Windows 8.1 and one day, my laptop starts to show the yellow triangle exclamation point on the wifi icon. When I hover over the wifi icon, it says not connected - connections available. I am connected to my wifi but the selection say "Limited". I have looked up solutions and several recommend to change settings in the Network and Sharing center, but I cannot because my connection is no longer setup as seen here: gyazo.com/547f4749572d7ff3c6cec439f00a63c4
When I try to set up my network, it fails every time. Also, every now and then, my internet will just drop out and I have to go to the connection and disconnect and reconnect.
Hopefully someone can help solve my problem
