Connected but no bytes received.

Helo everyone,i own a WRT54G Broadband Router and my pc runs a windows xp os.I connect my internet cable to the router but its connected but the icons in my pc shows that only bytes sent and not even a single bytes received so i can log into any webpages i have tried to disable my anitvirus/firewall but still the problem presists.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you follow the install instructions on the CD?

You're NOT supposed to connect anything until it says so. It walks you through step by step, it's almost impossible to mess it up.

Dunt get you there wat cd are you refering to ? the Broadband router cd ? well my other friend here can connect to internet easily execpt my pc.

Yes, the router comes with an install CD.

Comes in an envelope, says "READ ME FIRST before installing".
