Connect Playstation 2 to Laptop, use Laptop like a TV

Dec 19, 2005 6:20AM PST

Is there any way for me to connect my Playstation 2 to my laptop and just use my laptop like a tv screen? The playstation uses your standard 3-pronged audio/video output plugs (the red, white, and yellow ones) and I have a Dell 700m laptop. Any ideas?

Beware cheap USB capture devices.

The lag will make a gamer scream.

Look to PC-Card devices such as a TV-Tuner.

with the money you spend on cables and adapters and cards, u can get a 20-27inch tube or a 13-19inch lcd. you can technically do it with the slingbox...but its DEFINITELY not worth the trouble, not worth the hassle, and it'll be a waste of money.

the only way is get a USB2.0 TV tuner - sounds like the recommended one is ATI wonder - however, all reviews say there's a half second delay which "kills" your ability to play action games...
