That's the default way, as far as I know, to use Outlook to VIEW the files on the Exchange Server and not DOWNLOAD them. I can view my whole mailbox at work from home using Outlook Web Access, which connects with Exchange Server.
Anyway, Exchange Server seems like a company. So you ask the company IT staff or helpdesk to help you with the settings.

When I setup the email account in Outlook the first time I didn't change the .PST file to mailbox. Thus all my emails where brought into Outlook and I could not access my email via iPhone. Deleted the account and everything is good again, accept all my emails are now in Outlook. I would like to know how to connect Outlook 2003 to Exchange Server 2007, leaving a copy of the original email on the server so I can access it with my iPhone.
