Resolved Question

connect my headset to My PC ?

Sep 17, 2013 4:26PM PDT

Lately the large volume of workload has frustrated me a lot. business trips are so common and boring that I always love listening soft music to kill time. But the old earphones I once used were so easy to be damaged because the boring wires. So I took my colleague's advice and bought a bluetooth headset. I found it can not connect to my TOSHIBA PC successfully. Is there any way to solve the problem?

And did not the headset come with a dongle? Your L/T may not have an internal B/T antenna but the headset SHOULD come with a USB dongle. Need a little more info on L/T, model etc., and what came with your headset.

Hi, I think I did not much understand your answer. My laptop is Toshiba L 535 with Windows 7. As to the detailed parameters about it, I am sorry that I really couldn't remember them. My stereo headset is wireless with Bluetooth. Is it possible to make it work by using such a dongle (as followed) to connect with my laptop?

I here also wonder what "a USB dongle" referred to ? is it something attached to my stereo?

Sorry , I did not figure out much about your answer. Did you mean I post in the wrong place or ..?
What I mentioned is my stereo headset which I tried to connect with my laptop. It turns out maybe the reason is that there is no built-in Bluetooth adapter in my laptop .Isn't it?

I missed one word and misread the question twice.

The adapters noted here should be fine.

I like the unit Bob Proffitt linked to in his post...looked like a good deal, that is pretty much what you need.
