Thanks, Angeline! What I want to know is...
Dec 7, 2003 6:33AM PST

...will the Titans have anyone left to play defensive line next week? It seemed like every other play, one or more defensive linemen for Tennessee were down on the ground. Also, here's hoping Steve McNair's not seriously hurt; I noticed that he was limping badly by game's end...

That game was decided by the fumbles, especially the 2 on kick returns and the last one on the punt return. After the embarrassing showing by the Indy special teams last week against NE, methinks those folks had something to prove...

McNair took a hit to a knee in the nd quarter, hence the limp.

Winners don't fumble 4 times, Paul.

Manning did a good job of time of possession. A couple of Titans (Kearse is one) have the flu. In the pre-game show they mentioned that he was "loaded up on cold medicine". But that is not an excuse.

There was also no excuse for Berlin fumbling twice. You either can rise to the occasion, or you can't.

So far, it looks like it was the closest game of the day. MIA and NE is still underway.

I wondered if you had made the trip. Did you get the snow?

It did snow here, but...

...it didn't stick and everything's clear...the grass is even still green. I had no intention of trying to go to Nashville today. You see, today is my 30th wedding anniversary (that's right, we fooled 'em for yet another year Wink). After church, we went out to lunch and I didn't get back until about midway through the 2nd quarter.

Somehow, I thing Indy and the Titans are fated to play physical, beat up on each other games forever. I hope they don't meet in the playoffs, as the winner's not likely to be very healthy come the week after.

I remember you mentioing earlierthat you wondered how your wife would react if you wanted to attyend the game.

Now I can say I reckon the same as I would have on our wedding anniversary - no way! Happy

Having players healthy is often a matter of luck, and the teams that do wind up in the Super Bowl.
